Call Trace

Allows you to trace the last harassing or life-threatening incoming phone call, and record the number in the database at West River Telecom.

Only the police, with a court order, may receive this information.  A release form must be signed by the subscriber (and spouse) before the trace information will be released.  A service order and monthly fee applies when subscriber orders this feature.

 

To Use Call Trace:

1. Hang up after receiving an annoying call.

2. Immediately lift receiver and listen for dial tone.

3. Dial *57.

4. Follow voice prompt, listen for confirmation of trace, hang up.

 

Special Instructions:  Record the time and date of the call and contact West River Telecom.  Call Waiting tone during the call will be the number traced.  WRT will not provide any information pertaining to the trace to the subscriber.
