Speed Dialing

You can call emergency or frequently dialed numbers just by dialing one or two numbers. This capability includes long distance numbers.

You have a choice of selecting either a short list of 8 telephone numbers (Speed Dialing 8) or a longer list of 30 telephone numbers (Speed Dialing 30). If you have selected Speed Dialing 8 but want to be able to speed call more numbers, just call us and we’ll change your service to Speed Dialing 30.

Speed Dialing 8:

To Enter Or Chang Your Speed Dialing 8 List:

1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.

2. Dial *74.

3. Listen for the dial tone.

4. Dial one of the 8 one-digit speed numbers (2-9).

5. Then dial the number you wish to speed call. For long distance entries, remember to include the “1” and the area code.

6. Listen for the two beeps which indicate that your number has been entered. Then hang up and repeat the procedure for subsequent entries.

You may continue entering all the numbers on your list at this time or enter them one at a time later.

To Use Your Speed Dialing Feature:

1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.

2. Dial the appropriate one-digit speed number (2-9).

3. Press # (or wait four seconds).

4. Your call will now be dialed automatically.

Speed Dialing 30

To Enter Or Change Your Speed Calling List:

1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.

2. Dial *75.

3. Listen for the dial tone.

4. Dial one of the 30 two-digit speed numbers (20-49).

5. Dial the number you wish to speed call. For long distance entries, remember to include the “1” and the area code.

6. Listen for the two beeps which indicate that your number has been entered. Then hang up and repeat procedure.

You may continue entering all the numbers on your list at this time or enter them one at a time later.

To Use Your Speed Calling Feature:

2. Dial the appropriate two-digit speed number (20-49).

3. Press #.
