The Digital Millennium Copyright Act provides limitation for service provider liability relating to copyright material online. West River Telecommunications is a service provider in that it provides online services or network access between or among points specified by a user. West River Telecommunications does not modify the content that is sent or received.
According to its Terms, Conditions and Internet Policy 511, West River Telecommunications requires users “to obtain and provide all required permissions if You use the Service to receive, send, display, distribute or execute works protected by intellectual property laws including copyright and patent laws.” Failure to abide by the Terms, Conditions and Internet Policy 511 may result in the suspension of service or permanent disconnection.
